Build a Scorecard Template
Create customized scorecard templates to score and add coaching insights to all conversations in Attention.

1. Open Scorecard Templates
- Click your initials → Settings.
- In the sidebar, choose Scorecard Templates.
2. Add a new scorecard
- Select Add scorecard.
- Name it—for example, Discovery Call.
- Associate Teams: pick the teams this scorecard applies to (or Select all).
- (Optional) Associate Call Tags: link the scorecard to specific call types such as Discovery or Closing.
- Click Add scorecard to start building.
3. Set the scoring scale
- Minimum score (e.g.
1
) - Maximum score (e.g.
5
) - (Optional) Medium score (e.g.
3
) for a midpoint rating
4. Define scoring fields
- Click ➕ to add a field.
- Label the skill or behavior—e.g. Identify Pain.
- Describe what each end of the scale looks like:
- Low score example: “Prospect’s pain points were not discussed.”
- High score example: “Clear, quantifiable impact of pain articulated.”
- (Optional) Add a mid-score description.
- (Optional) Weight the field if it’s more important than others.
- Repeat for every area you want to score.
5. Test the prompt
Use Test prompt to run the scorecard against an existing conversation. Review the AI output and tweak wording or weights until the results feel right.
6. Save and deploy
Click Save when you’re satisfied. The template is now live for any calls that match the selected teams and tags.
Tips
- Create separate scorecards for different call stages (e.g. Discovery, Demo, Negotiation).
- Update weights over time to keep the focus on evolving priorities.
- Test frequently on real calls to ensure the criteria drive useful coaching insights.
