Zoom Phone integration

Attention can record calls made with Zoom Phone associated with the account. Each user’s Zoom account must be associated with the Attention app in the Zoom Marketplace. The user’s Zoom account must be configured to allow call or meeting recording, and the user must have access to download those recordings.
  1. Open Personal settings (Settings in the user menu → Personal settings), then find Link Zoom account and follow the steps to link your Zoom account with the Attention app in the Zoom Marketplace.

Automatic call recording

In the Zoom admin portal, go to: Admin → Account Management → Account settings → Zoom Phone (tab) → Automatic Call Recording Enable Automatic call recording for the account.

Access permissions

Recording access is granted per user, in that user’s Policy tab. A user policy overrides the account default, so this step is required for every user who should be recorded. For each user, go to: Admin → Phone System Management → Users & Rooms → Users (tab) → [user] → Policy (tab) Zoom admin showing a user's Policy tab Scroll down to Automatic Call Recording, make sure the toggle is enabled, and under Access Permissions tick Allow user to access to their own recording and its Download sub-option: Automatic Call Recording per-user Access Permissions with Download enabled Download is what Attention needs. Delete is optional and can stay off.
If Allow user to access to their own recording or Download is off, Zoom still records the call and still notifies Attention, but returns File does not exist. when Attention tries to fetch the audio.After enabling it, calls from roughly the last hour are retried and import on their own — no need to unlink and relink the Zoom account. Older calls are past their retry window and will not be imported.
A Modified badge next to Automatic Call Recording means this user’s policy overrides the account setting, so changing the account default will not affect them. Check this tab per user whenever recordings are missing for some people but not others.

3. Test call

Place a test call using the configured Zoom account. The call must:
  1. Include English speech of at least 100 words.
  2. Last more than two minutes.
After a few minutes, the call should appear in All calls (Conversations → All calls). All calls list showing the conversation
If you want to stop the Zoom Phone integration: Open Personal settings (Settings in the user menu → Personal settings), find Link Zoom account, open the three dots menu, and follow the steps to unlink your Zoom account from the Attention app.Unlink Zoom account from the three dots menu
